Remove the fan.
NOTE:
memory. See steps 2 through 7 for fan removal steps for computer models equipped with a graphics
subsystem with discrete memory.
8.
Disconnect the fan cable (1) from the system board.
9.
Remove the three Phillips PM2.5×4.4 screws (2) that secure the fan to the top cover.
10.
Remove the fan (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the fan.

RJ45 cover
Before removing the RJ45 cover, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Remove the bottom cover (see
