NOTE: This scale is programmed to measure all water based liquids. In practical terms
this covers almost every liquid used in domestic cookery including wine, milk, cream
etc.The exception is oil, which is not water based and would therefore not give such an
accurate measure (the error would be approx.+1 fl.oz at 10 fl.oz or + 50 ml at 500ml). If
your recipe shows liter or pint measures: 1 liter = 1000 ml, 1 pint = 20 fl.oz, 1/2 pint = 10
fl.oz, 1/4 pint = 5 fl.oz
