Bluetooth Operation

To permit best phone reception and keep electromagnetic radiation in the vehicle as low as
possible, always use an outside aerial in mobile phone operation.
The range of the Bluetooth transmission is limited. Please observe that you have to put your
mobile phone within an area of 3 m around the moniceiver and that there must not be any metal
objects between the mobile phone and the moniceiver.
Some mobile phones have a energy savings function in Bluetooth operation. This feature may
lead to malfunctions in connection with the moniceiver. Please switch off this function in your
mobile phone if required.
To achieve good language quality, do not exceed a max. distance of 1 m to the moniceiver in
phone calls.
The volume setting in hands-free operation should be no more than "30", or echo effects may
occur.
If there are any unexplained functional impairments during Bluetooth operation, try resetting
the moniceiver. Caution: All settings of the moniceiver are reset to factory settings here.
In Bluetooth operation, the moniceiver can be used as hands-free system for mobile phones and/or as playback
device for A2DP audio streaming. Before transmission between your mobile phone and the moniceiver is possible,
however, both devices must be coupled. This process is called "Pairing".
The pairing process can take place from the moniceiver as well as from the mobile phone.
