"RANDOM 1" and "RANDOM 2" (➜ page 17) are displayed on
the main unit's display when CD Mode is on (➜ page 14).
To exit the program and random mode
Press [PLAY MODE] several times while stopped.
≥Disable HighMAT disc play to use program and random play. Select
"Play as Data Disc" in Other Menu (➜ page 21).
≥[DVD-A]
Some discs contain bonus groups. If a password screen appears
after selecting a group, enter the password with the numbered
buttons to play the bonus group. Refer also to the disc's jacket.

Program play (up to 32 items)
∫ When CD Mode is off
[DVD-A] [DVD-V] [VCD] [CD] [WMA] [MP3] [JPEG]
You can program all the items on a disc in the play position.

Press the numbered buttons to
[DVD-A] [DVD-V]
select a group (
[WMA] [MP3] [JPEG]
[ENTER]) or title.
e.g. [DVD-V]
≥To select a 2-digit number
e.g. To select 25: [S10] ➜ [2] ➜ [5]
[WMA] [MP3] [JPEG] [2] ➜ [5] ➜ [ENTER]

chapter or track (
[WMA] [MP3] [JPEG]
[ENTER]).
≥Repeat steps 1 and 2 to program other items.
≥[VCD]
[CD] Step 1 is unnecessary.

To select an item using the cursor buttons
Press [ENTER] and [3, 4] to select an item, then press [ENTER]
again to register.
To change the selected program
1 Press [3, 4] to select an item.
2 Repeat above steps 1 and 2.
To clear the selected program
1 Press [3, 4] to select an item.
2 Press [CANCEL] (or press [3, 4, 2, 1] to select "Clear" and
press [ENTER]).
To clear the whole program
Select "Clear all" with [3, 4, 2, 1] and press [ENTER].
The whole program is also cleared when the disc is moved out of the
play position, the unit is turned off or another source is selected.
