Page 3 99-7953 DASH DISASSEMBL Y SUZUKI GRAND VIT ARA 2006-2008 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unclip and remove the (2) outside trim panels. (Figure A) Remove (6) Phillips screws securing the radio and climate controls to the sub dash.
Page 4 99-7953 KIT ASSEMBL Y N N O O T T E E : : Mount the radio housing to the climate control assembly with the factory hardware DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down.
Page 5 99-7953 FINAL ASSEMBL Y FINAL ASSEMBL Y 1 Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash and make the connection as shown. Metra recomends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.)
