Just the other day the power shut off on the wine cellar. There was no power to the wine cooler. I looked at the beakers and they were all on. I took a power cord with a light on it to show power and ran it directly to the cooler. I held the on switch for more than 5 seconds and there is no power. What is the problem?

The appliance should always be plugged into its own individual electrical outlet which has a voltage rating that matches the rating label on the appliance. This provides the best performance and also prevents overloading house wiring circuits that could cause a fire hazard from overheating. Never unplug the appliance by pulling on the power cord.

OPERATING YOUR APPLIANCE It is recommended you install the appliance in a place where the ambient temperature is between 72º and 78ºF (23º-26ºC). If the ambient temperature is above or below the recommended temperatures, the performance of the unit may be affected. For example, placing your unit in extreme cold or hot conditions may cause interior temperatures to fluctuate.
It is recommended to set the LOWER ZONE to 55º - 65ºF (13º - 18ºC) which is ideal for storing white and red wines and the UPPER ZONE to 40º - 55ºF (5º - 13ºC) which is ideal for storing sparkling and white wines.
WINE SHELVES To prevent damaging the door gasket, make sure to have the door all the way open when pulling the shelves out of a rail compartment. • For easy access to the stored bottles, you can pull a shelf approximately halfway out of the rail compartment.
MOVING YOUR APPLIANCE 1. Remove all items. 2. Securely tape down all loose items (shelves) inside your appliance. 3. Turn the adjustable legs up to the base to avoid damage. 4. Tape the doors shut. 5. Be sure the appliance stays secure in the upright position during transportation. Also, protect the outside of the appliance with a blanket or similar item.
