* About the electronic shutter
The electronic shutter is the function used to adjust the shutter speed electrically.
Notes on the SteadyShot function
•The SteadyShot function will not correct excessive camera-shake.
•Attachment of a tele conversion lens (optional) or a wide conversion lens (supplied)
may influence the SteadyShot function.
If you cancel the SteadyShot function
The SteadyShot OFF indicator
compensation for camera-shake.
Meaning
To automatically adjust the electronic
shutter* speed.
OFF
To fix the electronic shutter* speed.
Records still/moving pictures in the
interlace format.
ON
Records still/moving pictures in
progressive recording mode.
To deactivate the digital zoom. Up to 12×
