Paper Jam in Behind the Lower Left Door

1:
If the High Capacity Feeder (HCF / Paper Trays 6 & 7) is installed on the
machine, open the Left Door that is located between the HCF and Trays 1 - 4.

Open the Lower Left Door that is located behind the Left Door; toward the
bottom of the machine.
3:
Remove any jammed paper in this area. Close
the Lower Left Door.

Ensure machine is idle. Gently
open front cover.

Pull out paper tray 1. Pull out
Transport Unit 4 using the handle
above Paper Tray 1.

When the Transport Unit is pulled
out, Paper Tray 2 will be pushed out.

Lift up lever 4a and remove any
jammed paper. Return lever 4a to its
original position. Push Paper Tray 2
in gently until it comes to a complete
stop. When the tray is pushed in, the
Transport Unit will be inserted into
the machine at the same time. Push
Paper Tray 1 in gently until it comes
to a complete stop. Close the Front
Door.

Note
If paper is torn, make
sure to remove any torn
pieces of paper inside
the machine.
