Additional Equipment Connection
Door-Phone and Door Lock Release
The door-phone Interface Module (DPIM) can be connected to any DLI port using a 0.50 mm
conductor cable pair. The DPIM is then connected to a door-phone using 2 pair 0.50mm
conductor cable.
Refer to [Working on Cabling] on pages 2-15 and 2-17 for connection between DPIM and a
port.
Door lock release is provided by connecting the LOCK port of the DPIM to the door lock
release via an approved DC Line Isolating Unit.
Use only the optional Samsung door-phone .
Connect a DPIM to any DLI port only after connecting a door-phone to the DPIM.
The LOCK port of DPIM must only be connected to a DC LIU and NOT directly to
the door unlock mechanism.
