Installing Atmel TPM and RealTek Audio Drivers
If you want for Trusted Platform Computing (TPM) 1.2 and RealTek digital audio
(SPDIF) are included on the Supplemental or Tools and Drivers CD. If you want to
use these features, you will need to install the drivers.
Note – If the Atmel TPM driver is not installed, a yellow bang will appear in the
device manager.
Atmel Driver Installation
1. Insert the Supplemental or Tools and Drivers CD into the DVD drive.
2. Change to the Supplemental or Tools and Drivers CD directory by typing the
following:
C:\> cd/D D:\drivers\windows\OS\optional\atmel\
Where OS is XP32 or XP64.
3. Double click on the Atmel_TPM_Driver_X.X.X.XX.msi icon and follow the
instructions in the wizard to install the driver.
RealTek Audio Driver Installation
1. Remove the currently installed NVIDIA sound drivers if installed
These drivers are installed as part of the NVIDIA chipset pack installation.
2. Insert the Supplemental or Tools and Drivers CD into the DVD drive.
3. Go to the Supplemental or Tools and Drivers CD directory by typing the
following
C:\> cd/D D:\drivers\windows\OS\optional\audio\realtek\
Where OS is XP32 or XP64.
4. Unzip the file and double click on the executable.
5. Follow the instructions in the wizard to install the driver.
