HOW THE AIR CONDITIONER WORKS

Automatic Operation
The air conditioner selects and operates in one of the operating modes of cooling, heating or fan only, depending
on the room temperature and setting temperature.
If the AUTO mode is uncomfortable, you can select the desired conditions manually.
Hi POWER operation
When you press the Hi POWER button during cooling, heating or A operation, the air conditioner will start the following
operation.
Cooling operation
Performs the cooling operation at 1°C lower than the setting temperature.
Only when the fan speed before the Hi POWER operation is not high, the fan speed will be increased.
Heating operation
Performs the heating operation at 2°C higher than the setting temperature.
Only when the fan speed before the Hi POWER operation is not high, the fan speed will be increased.
ECO timer operation
When you press the ECO button during cooling, heating or A operation, the air conditioner will start the following
operation.
The fan speed display will indicate AUTO and low speed will be used.
• Cooling operation
In the operation suppression zone, where capacity is kept
to the minimum, overcooling is prevented by raising the
temperature setting by 1°C after 1 hour and by 2°C after
2 hours of operation. The room temperature is thus
regulated between the operation suppression zone and the
set temperature.
• Heating operation
In the operation suppression zone, where capacity is kept
to the minimum, overheating is prevented by lowering the
temperature setting by 1°C after 1 hour and by 2°C after
2 hours of operation.
The room temperature is thus regulated between the set
temperature and the operation suppression zone.
CAUTION
ECO-TIMER operation is not available for twin and group combination. (
transmitted to the main unit, the receiving sound is heard but the ECO-TIMER operation will not be performed.
Display panel on the remote control will change to ECO-TIMER setting display. Cancel the setting following the
instructions on page 4.
DRY operation
This operation is performed when the room temperature is higher than
the set temperature.
The temperature is regulated while dehumidifying by repeated turning
on and off of the cooling operation or fan only operation.
Increase of using wireless remote control, the fan speed display will
indicate AUTO and low speed will be used.
