Administration Mode
The Administration Mode is used for limiting the settings available to users, resetting the admin
password or disabling the admin password.
To enable or disable Administration Mode, click Administration Mode and enter the admin
password. You will need to exit the OSD for this setting to take affect. If Administration Mode is
enabled, some of the settings in the tabs, including the Firmware Upgrade option, will no longer be
available until the administrative password is entered. To disable Administration Mode, repeat the
same steps above.
To reset the admin password:
1. Click Administration Mode .
2. Enter the admin password and click Settings .
3. Enter the old password, the new password and click Save .
To disable the admin password:
1. Click Administration Mode .
2. Enter the admin password and click Settings .
3. Click the Disabled radio button and click Save .
Diagnostics tab
The Diagnostics tab is mainly used for debugging. The initial view in the Diagnostics tab shows
Video Parameters and USB Parameters. These are links that can be used by Technical Support
for troubleshooting video or USB issues.
You can also issue resets for the transmitter and receiver from the Diagnostic tab. The receiver
reset option is similar to a power cycle. To reset the receiver, click Reset Receiver .
To reset the transmitter, c lick Reset Transmitter. The reset is equivalent to powering the transmitter
off and back on. You might reset a transmitter if there was no keyboard/mouse function after
connecting.
The adjust video option allows you to set the VGA parameters of the transmitter.
The Firmware Upgrade option is only available to a dmin users. This option allows you to upgrade
the firmware of the receiver from a USB drive. To upgrade the firmware, click Firmware Upgrade
and follow the instructions on the screen.
