To insert a pause:
1. Begin storing a number and press
pause is needed. P is shown in the display.

Recall

The
button is used when connected to certain
switchboards, e.g. to transfer calls, and for some
BT Calling Features or those services available via
your network provider.

Dialling mode

Your BT Freelance XA 5000 is set to tone dialling.
If required you can switch it to pulse dialling.
to SETUP and press

to DIAL MODE and press

to select either TONE or PULSE

twice to return to the idle screen.
Temporary change to dialling mode
If you have set your BT Freelance XA 5000 to
Pulse dialling, you can temporarily switch to Tone
dialling during a call.

Your BT Freelance XA 5000 will switch to Tone
dialling only for the duration of this call.

so that it will temporarily switch to Tone dialling
