9. Changing the tube

The special tube used in the RS1 is a long-life tube, which should last at least 10,000 operation
hours. Changing of the tube is usually necessary only after many years.
In order to achieve and receive the special technical data, the tube is firmly built in a selected and
adjusted tube module. It may be changed only by the authorized workshop!
10. Warranty
The company MD, Marek Design GmbH grants optional limited 5 years warranty on the
mechanical and electrical function of the condenser tube microphone system RS1 when operated
in general studio type use. The tube and the microphone capsule, which are wearing parts are
excluded, as well as damage, caused deliberately or by inappropriate use.
Two yearly inspections of the complete system are included for free. The first within the first
year and the second within the second year starting from the purchase date.
Opening or changing the system, and/or any of the components will lead to the expiration of the
warranty. In case of a warranty claim the registered warranty card must be registered.
The 5 year warranty is available to the original purchaser upon proper registration of ownership
within 30 days of date of purchase.
CE Standard:
The CE label guarantees that this product fulfills the general requirements of the European
Community.
