4.18 Microphone

Installing the Microphone

To install the microphone, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-29.
1. Connect the microphone cable to the connector CN6050 on the system board.
2. Install the microphone into the slot of the base assembly and secure it with the glass
tape.
CAUTION: Arrange the microphone cable with care of the followings:
1. Arrange the microphone cable between the C3202 and X2160, and do not
put the cable on them.
2. Stick the glass tape aiming at the center of the boss hole.
3. Be careful not to put the glass tape on the boss hole.
4. Do not cover the ventilation hole with the glass tape.
