The Selection Panel is where you make your choice among the vending
machine beverages presented on the buttons on the Selection Panel.
There are two different choice operations offered through the Selection
Panel
Pre-selection

Pre-selection is an act which results in a modification of a drink. When you
press a Pre-selection Button, a drink is not dispensed.
Selection is an act which results directly in the dispensing of a drink when
you press a Selection Button.
In order to modify a beverage, you must always remember to press a Pre-
selection Button before you press a Selection Button!
