    Insert 8 "D" size batteries into the battery compartment by following the polarity markings on the cabinet. Close the battery compartment, make sure the battery compartment cover locks firmly. Low battery indications Any of the following symptoms indicate low battery power. Replace the batteries as soon as possible whenever any of the following occurs.

    Play voice The voice mode features 155 authentic voices(including 128 General MIDI voices, 13 Chinese Voice ,6 Percussion Voice (1 Chinese Percussion) and 8 User Voice.(See appendix 1VOICE LIST) Select the desired voice number Press [VOICE] button,you can switch three separate voice modes: VOICE R1,VOICE R2, VOICE L.

    LOWER VOICE You can split the keyboard to right and left area in this function. Press [LOWER] button to turn on the lower voice.LCD lights the lower voice flag and displays "VOICE L" and the lower voice name.     Sustain Press the [SUSTAIN] button to turn the SUSTAIN effect on (the sustain icon will appear next to "sustain" on the display).All played notes on the keyboard have a sustained effect.     Auto accompaniment Using auto accompaniment(only drum) Press the [STYLE] button. select a style. Select the desired style number with the dial [+/YES] [-/NO] [0]-[9] (See the appendix 2 style list) Press the [START/STOP] button to start playing the style(only drum). Press the [START/STOP] button to stop playing the style.

    The accompaniment section Accompaniment consists of Intro, normal, variation, fill a, fill b, ending. Using different sections based on the structure of songs enable you to create a song. INTRO Press the [INTRO] button before you start playing to select an intro section. The intro section is followed by the main section.

    You can change the chords of the accompaniment by playing keys on the auto accompaniment section of the keyboard using either the " Single Finger" or "Fingered" method. Fingered Chords (the following chart): Single Finger Chords: C: to play a major chord: Press the root note of the chord. Cm: to play a minor chord: Press the root note together with the nearest black key to the left of it.

    Memory Memory feature can be used to memorize 32 complete control-panel setups(8 banks, 4 setups each) that you can recall whenever needed. Data stored by the Memory Voice Right 1, Voice Right 2, Voice Left, Sustain, Style, Tempo, Function parameter, Mixer parameter, ACCOMP volume and the Octave.

The default pedal is the sustain pedal. All notes played on the keyboard have a sustained effect after stepping on the pedal.

"MIDI0001" will appear on the LCD and the character "0" will flash."H" will be changed by keyboard.You can press some special keyboards to rename or delete it. A standard midi format file will be saved in the disk.

    If you want to enter a new name for the new mem file, press the [ ]keyboard or [ ] keyboard (reference appendix 9) to move the position of character you want to modify and then press the other special keyboard to name of mem. A mem name can consist of up to 8 characters.

    Stop recording Auto stop If the record memory is full in record mode,It will stop recording and exit record mode automatically . A style will be turned off at the same time. The "FULL" will appear on the LCD. It will also stop recording at the end of the style if pressing [ENDING] button when the STYLE is playing.
