Searching and Pairing the Bluetooth Device

Bluetooth Search in Bluetooth Standard Pairing method is used
to scan for other Bluetooth devices nearby. It is set to off by
default.
Note: Ensure the Bluetooth on your device is turned to On
and is set to DISCOVERABLE in order to enable your
radio to detect your device in Bluetooth.
Procedure:

or to BT. Press the Menu Select button directly below
BT to access the Bluetooth feature screen.

or to Search Devices and press the Menu Select
button directly below On.

The display changes to BT Searching screen and it shows
Searching for BT devices.
OR
You hear the radio sounds a short, low-pitched tone. The
Bluetooth feature screen shows BT Search failed.

The BT Searching screen shows the name of Bluetooth
devices found if there are any.
OR
To stop the searching press the Menu Select button below
Stop.

When the search timer expires, Available Dev screen is
shown. The display shows a list of Bluetooth devices found.

If the list shows the required device,
name and press the Menu Select button directly below Sel
to connect to the device.The radio starts pairing to the
device.

Press the Menu Select button below Back to return to
Bluetooth feature screen.

Press or the Menu Select button below Exit to return to
Home screen.

Press the preprogrammed button, to enable the Bluetooth
Search feature.

The display changes to BT Searching screen and it shows
Searching for BT devices.

If the feature fails to initiate, you hear the radio sounds a
short, low-pitched tone. The screen shows BT Search
failed.

The BT Searching screen shows the name of Bluetooth
devices found if there are any.

Press the preprogrammed button to disable the Bluetooth
Search.
