Hoisting the mainsail

Steps Description
Take the mainsail halyard which is attached to the
base plate of the gooseneck on the mast. Detach
the lower part and tie a figure of eight knot. Take

the upper part and insert the end in the small ring
located above the head of mainsail ring, passing
from the back towards the front as in the photo.
2 Tie a figure of eight knot.
Introduce the bolt rope of the main sail into the
opening of the mast track and hoist the mainsail by
pulling on the halyard while carefully guiding the
cord inside the mast.
 Go passed the hook and let it slide back, it will hook
automatically.
To lower the mainsail, pull on the halyard, turn the
mast to the side to unhook and pull on the sail to
lower it.
