Then, join each shroud to the top of each stay adjuster using the clevis pins and split rings. Go passed the hook and let it slide back, it will hook automatically. To lower the mainsail, pull on the halyard, turn the mast to the side to unhook and pull on the sail to lower it. (as shown on the photograph opposite) Insert the gudgeon through the top of the rudder arm and the upper pintle, then the bottom of the rudder arm and through the lower pintle. Take the Gennaker central tension rope and install between the pad eye and the bridle fixing point on the stay adjuster. Then fix the two pole bridles on the bridle supports on the hulls.
