Configuring Phone Functions

This section explains how to carry out typical phone settings.

Switching the Phone On

Your cordless phone is switched off and you want to switch it on.
You can switch on the phone when it is switched off by placing it in the charging bay or by first pressing
the Call key and then the "Yes" Foxkey.

Switching the Phone Off

You want to switch off your cordless phone.
Outside the coverage area the phone will keep trying to establich communication with a system. To save
your battery, you can switch off your phone whenever you leave the coverage area.

Press the C-key and hold it down for a moment

Press the Call key.
The display shows "Switch on?".
To switch on your cordless phone: Press the "Yes" Foxkey.
The phone runs a self-test. The display goes dark and then displays
"Searching...". The phone is in standby mode and ready to receive.
If your phone cannot find a system, the display will read "No system".
Use the "Configure" Foxkey in configuration mode to switch to an available
system.
Press the C-key with the phone in idle state and hold it down for a moment.

Press digit key 0 and hold it down a moment.
The display shows "Please wait"; the phone switches itself off.
You cannot switch the phone off in a call.
Switched off: Incoming calls are stored in the list of callers. Charging: The
phone automatically switches itself on.
