4-1 Mower (Models FM48 and FM 60CJ)

1. Gear Box Unit Removal

(1) Remove the joint cover ➀, sprit pin ➁, nut ➂
and bolt ➃.
(2) Remove the universal joint ➄.
(3) Unhook the hungers ➅ and remove the nuts ➆
and belt covers ➇.
(4) Untighten the lock nut ➈ and release the tension
spring ➉, and remove the V-belt ⑪.
(5) Remove the bolt, spring washer, spacer and blade
from under the mower deck.
(6) Remove the gear box assembly as follows:
· On model FM 48, remove the four bolts and gear
box assembly.
· On model FM60 CJ, remove two long bolts (M12×
40) from top of the mower deck, and remove the
four bolts (fine thread M12×20) from under the
mower deck,. and then remove the gear box unit.
