4.4 Using the Link Software

Your Voice It Link software includes a comprehensive help system. This system
explains how to use the software in conjunction with your recorder.

4.5 Connecting Your Recorder to a PC

To use Voice It Link software with your recorder, you need to connect the recorder
to your PC. Here's how:
• Turn off the recorder. The Power button turns the recorder off and on.
• Plug the supplied cable into your recorder.
• Plug the cable into a free serial port on your PC. You may have to disconnect
another peripheral, such as an external modem, to free up an appropriate port.
