The format introduced to the memory card by the recorder will make the
card incompatible with most other applications (for instance, digital
cameras, games, etc.).

EMOVING
If you see the message "CARD READ ONLY" when you try to record on a card,
write protection is active. The recorder won't allow you to store new recordings on
the card unless you disable write protection. Remove the round sticker from the
recessed ares. This will remove write protection and allow you to record on the
card.
If the display shows the message WRONG TYPE OF CARD, the memory
card cannot be used by your recorder. Try another type of card. Your
recorder uses 3.3V memory cards (SSFDC type) in 4-MB and 8-MB
(TE131) sizes. If you have trouble locating cards, call Black Box
Technical Support at 724-746-5500.
