Changing the BacklightTime Length
The backlight setting lets you select how long the display
screen and keypad are backlit after any keypress is made.
To change the backlight setting:
1.
Select Menu > Settings > Display > Backlight.
2.
Select Main Display or Keypad.
3.
Select a time setting and press

Long backlight settings affect the battery's talk and standby times.

Changing the Text Greeting

The text greeting can be up to 16 characters and is displayed
on your phone's screen in standby mode. You may choose to
keep the phone's default greeting, or you may enter your own
custom greeting.
To display or change your greeting:
1.
Select Menu > Settings > Display > Greeting. (The default
greeting is displayed.)
2.
Use the keypad to enter a custom greeting and press
greeting one character at a time, press
