Safety switch-off with an over-long cooking time

If one of the cooking zones is heated for an unusually long
period of time (see chart), and the power settings are not
altered, the cooktop will switch itself off automatically and the
corresponding residual heat indicator will appear.
To use the cooking zone again, switch it back on in the usual
way.

* The power levels 1+ etc. are only available if the power
setting range has been extended (see "Programming").
Your cooktop will switch off automatically if one or several of
the sensors remain covered for longer than 10 seconds, for
example, by finger contact, food boiling over or by an object
such as an oven glove or tea towel.
F will flash in the timer display.
^ Clean the control area or remove the obstruction.
F will go out. You can operate the appliance again.
