    Back View Soundbar AUX IN Input Jack Connect to the output jack of your portable audio player. OPTICAL Input Jack Connect to the optical audio output jack of a digital optical audio device. DC IN Jack Connect the supplied power adapter. HDMI Output Jack Connect to the input jack of an HDMI compatible TV or monitor.

    Remote Control POWER Turn the soundbar on or off. MUTE Turn sound on or off VOL + / VOL – Increase or decrease soundbar volume. SUB + / SUB – Increase or decrease subwoofer volume. HDMI 1 / HDMI 2 OPTICAL Select an HDMI input mode.

    Setup Positioning the Soundbar System Place the soundbar at a height that is closest to ear-level in the listening area. Position the soundbar so that it is parallel to the listening area. Place the subwoofer in the corner of the room or at least 3 ft. (1 m) away from the TV. Note: Do not place the soundbar in an enclosed cabinet.

    On the Wall Required tools: Drill, pen or pencil, level, 4 screws. Locate a place to mount the soundbar. Make sure you have enough room for both ends of the soundbar to provide unobstructed sound. Attach the supplied wall mount template to the wall horizontally, making sure that it is level.

    Power the Soundbar Connect the power cord to the soundbar DC IN jack. Connect the AC cable to the AC power adapter. Be sure the cable is fully inserted into the adapter. Plug the AC power cord into a power outlet. Power the Wireless Subwoofer Connect the power cord to the subwoofer DC IN jack.

    Install Batteries in the Remote Control Press the tab to remove the battery cover. Insert two AAA batteries (not supplied) as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside. Replace the battery cover. Battery Notes: Dispose of batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them.

    Connections Connect to an audio/video system through HDMI or to an audio-only system through an optical audio or auxiliary input connection. Note: Before connecting or changing any connections, make sure that all the devices are disconnected from the power outlet.     Connecting to an Audio System OPTICAL Connection Connect the optical output jack of your device to the OPTICAL jack on the soundbar. Turn on the connected device. Press INPUT to select the OPTICAL mode. Note: When you connect the optical audio cable (not included), make sure to set the source device output mode to PCM.

    Operation Select a Soundbar Input Mode You can switch between four input modes, AUX, HDMI1, HDMI2, or OPTICAL. Press INPUT on the soundbar repeatedly to select a soundbar input source. The corresponding input source will then be activated. Press HDMI1 , HDMI2, OPTICAL or AUX IN on the remote control to select the corresponding input.
