Your printer must be set up as a shared resource on the computer to
which it is directly connected before you can access it from another
computer. For instructions, see "Setting up your printer as a shared
printer" on page 142.
1. For Windows 2000 users, Click Start, point to Settings, and
then click Printers.
For Windows XP users, click Start, and then click Control
Panel. Next, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then
click Printers and Faxes.
2. Double-click the Add Printer icon. The Add Printer Wizard
appears.
3. Click Next.
4. Select Network printer, and then click Next.
5. On the next screen, click Next.
