Power-on and test the hardware The software required for the 1000BaseT network adapter is pre installed on the M-Series iVDR. This allows Windows to recognize and initialize the network adapter board immediately at boot time. NOTE: At Windows startup, the default IP address is set to 192.168.0.10 with a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0.

Power-on the iVDR and test the DVD drive The software driver required for the DVD drive is pre installed on the M-Series iVDR. This allows Windows to immediately recognize the DVD drive at boot time. The DVD drive is assigned the drive letter “F”.
When you make the disk compatible, you effectively “close” the disk and it becomes read-only. Refer to the M-Series User Manual for instructions on making the DVD compatible.
