    HD Set Top Box with PVR Warranty Details The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion, solely at our option with no charge for parts and labour.

    Remote Control (Cont.) Using the remote control To use the Remote Control, point it towards the front of the Digital Set Top Box. The Remote Control has a range of up to 7 metres from the Set Top Box at an angle of up to 60 degrees (30 degrees for the left hand side and 30 degrees for the right hand side).

    Getting Started First time installation After all connections have been made properly, switch on the TV. Make sure the set top box is connected to the mains and the switch is turned on. Press the Standby button on the set top box. The first time installation message will appear on the screen.
  • Page 13 Getting Started (Cont.) EPG (Electronic Program Guide) The EPG is an on-screen TV guide that shows scheduled programs seven days in advance for every tuned channel. Press the EPG button on the Remote Control to access the guide or select EPG main menu. • Press to highlight the channel.

    Getting Started (Cont.) PVR function NOTE: Before you can record with this set top box (including time-shift recording), you must have inserted a FAT32 formatted USB storage device into USB port. Instant recording • Insert a USB disk into the set top box, the message “USB disk plugged in." will appear.
  • Page 15 Getting Started (Cont.) PVR files When you use the PVR function, the set top box will establish a PVR folder in the USB device automatically. All the PVR records are saved n this folder and will be listed in sequence of their channel name. You can play/rename/delete the records in the folder.
