SETUP
You can flexibly customize the unit to suit your own preferences and
usage. From the SETUP menu, Visual Customizing. External Device,
etc., can be modified.
About "Text"
Text:
Text compatible CDs contain text information such as the disc
name and track name. Such text information is referred to as
"text".
• Some characters may not be displayed correctly with this device.

information to be displayed.

Displaying Time
Press VIEW repeatedly until the time is displayed.
Each press changes the display.
For details, see "Displaying the Text" (page 15).
• Selecting any tuner or CD function while in the clock priority mode
will illlerrupt the time display momentarily. The jilllction selected
will be displayed for about 5 seconds before the time relllms to the
display.
• When the power is offbut the ignition key is on, press VIEW to
display or tum off the time.

F/SETUP
Use steps 1 to 4 to select one of the SETUP modes to
modify. See the applicable section below for details
about the selected SETUP item.

Press and hold F/SETUP for at least 2 seconds to
activate the SETUP mode.
Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired item,
and then press
~/ENT.

Press and hold F/SETUP for at least 2 seconds to
return to normal mode.
• Pressing
~/ESC
retums to the previous SETUP mode.
• Ifno operation is perfonnedfor 60 seconds. SETUP is canceled.
