    INSTALLATION INSTALLATION 1. STANDARD INSTALLATION Make sure all preparation steps are completed. Determine your ceiling height to see if you need an extension. i. Hood unit height = 12 ii. Standard DC height = 15-3/4 (lower) + 17 (upper) iii. Minimumheight (Standard duct cover only) = iv.
