Operating instructions

These operating instructions describe your handset and its functions
on your communications system.
All functions that can be performed via your handset are described
here. If some of the required functions are not available on your hand-
set, it may be due to one of the following:
• The function is not configured for you or your handset - please
contact your system administrator.
• Your communications platform does not feature this function -
please contact your Siemens contract partner to upgrade.
Conducting calls – the basic
functions
You can use your handset to make both internal and external calls.
Internal calls are calls that
• you make within the range of a communication system,
forexample, within your company,
• you make between networked communication systems,
for example, to different company locations.
External calls are calls that you conduct with users of the public tele-
phone network.
