11. Remove the two screws as shown.

12. Disconnect the touch pad cable from the touch pad board and release the touch pad cable from the upper
case.
13. Remove the tapes to release the microphone cable.
14. Slide the touch pad bracket right-ward to release it from the latches and detach the touch pad bracket
from the upper case.
NOTE: When reassembling, make sure the touch pad bracket is installed well with the latches.
