3-11. AUTO CONVERGENCE SETTING
This adjustment must be performed after the registration
adjustment was made or after readjustment was made by any
reason.
1. Darken the periphery of this set.
2. Receive the 50Hz (PAL) signal.
3. Set in the service mode.
4. Press "
(AUTO CONVERGENCE)" button on the front
panel of the set.
(The offset value is now automatically stored.)
5. Check that no error message appears.
If an error message appears, recheck.
6. Enter the NTSC monoscope signal, and perform the same
steps in the PAL modes respectively.
3-12. BLUE OFFSET ADJUSTMENT
This adjustment item must be ending the G2 adjustment .
1. Input the HD(1080i/60Hz Black) signal into component in
terminal.
2. Set PICTURE 100%, others are normal, DRC1250/60Hz.
3. Adjust with SLN so that the blue reference pulse peak voltage
of B terminal (CN1504) enters into standard.

4. Write the adjustment value in the NVM area of widezoom
mode after the adjustment.

3-13. WHITE BALANCE ADJUSTMENT
1. Connect the W/B adjustment jig(12C BUS).
2-1.Set "PICTURE MODE" TO "DYNAMIC", and adjust
PIC 00 PIC (100) = 0
PIC 02 BRI (45) = 50
2-2.Receive video monoscope pattern.
2-3.Adjust sub-BRT (service item COLOR 08 SBRT) to make
10 IRE slightly glimmer.
3. Receive component WHITE signal (480i 60HZ), set to
DYNAMIC mode.

4. Adjustment Sub-BRT
Receive video monoscope (60 Hz) signal.
Set to DYNAMIC mode.
Set PIC 00 PIC 100 b 00
Set PIC 02 BRI 45 b 50
Adjust Sub-BRT (service item COLR 08 SBRT) to make 10
IRE stair step of monoscope slightly glimmer.
Adjust COLR 08 SBRT
After adjustment finish, Return each setting data to orignal
data.
