Camera ready light status

Status
Ready light glows
steady green.
Ready light blinks
green.
Ready light blinks
orange.

Cause
Camera is ready to take a picture or video.
Shutter button is pressed halfway down. Focus and exposure
are set.
Picture is being processed and saved to the camera.
Flash is not charged. Wait. Resume picture taking when the
light stops blinking and turns green.
Camera's internal memory or card is full.
Transfer pictures to the computer
from the camera (page
(page 18), or insert a card with available memory
Camera processing memory is full. Wait. Resume picture
taking when the light turns green.
Card is read-only. Change storage location to internal memory
(page 18), or use a different card.
Memory card speed is slow. Card cannot be used to take
videos.
Change storage location to internal memory

Batteries are low or exhausted. Replace or recharge the
