Audio board

Description
Audio board (includes audio board cable)
Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the battery (see

Switch cover (see

Keyboard (see

Speaker assembly (see

Display assembly (see

Top cover (see

Wireless switch board (see

Front USB board (see

ExpressCard assembly (see

Top cover trim (see

Rear USB board (see
m. System board (see
Remove the fan/heat assembly:
1.
Remove the silver Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screw (1) that secures the audio board to the base enclosure.
2.
Release the audio board (2) by sliding it back until the audio connectors disengage from the
openings in the base enclosure.
