It will flash when either
system is operating. If it
does not flash or it comes
on when you are driving, this
indicates a malfunction. Have the
system checked by a properly
trained technician immediately.
If you switch ESP off, the warning
lamp will come on. The lamp will go
out when you switch the system
back on or when you switch the
ignition off.
Water-in-fuel indicator
Vehicles with a diesel engine
It will illuminate if there is
excess water in the fuel filter.
Drain off the water
immediately. See Draining the
fuel filter water trap (page 138).
AUDIBLE WARNINGS

Door open warning
The door open warning chime will
sound if you switch the ignition on
and you have not closed the doors,
the bonnet or tailgate properly.
