1. Do not fill above the bottom of the fuel tank neck.

Starting the Engine

1. Check the engine oil level. Refer to Checking the
Engine Oil Level (page 21).
2. Turn the fuel shutoff valve 1/4 turn counterclockwise
to open it (Figure 27).
3. Insert the ignition key (Figure 28).
