Inserting a card
1. Hold the memory card by its edges with the edge-
connector side towards the slot.
2. Hold the card at a shallow angle (about 25 degrees)
and insert the edge connector into the connector s lot.
The "gold teeth" of the edge connector should no
longer be visible when the card is fully inserted.
3. Press the card downwards so that it is flat inside the
compartment. You may hear a click as the latches of
the connector lock the card in place.
4. Replace the keyboard by inserting the four tabs along
the bottom edge of the keyboard into the
corresponding four slots in the notebook case. Be
careful that the keyboard connector cable is properly
situated underneath the keyboard.
5. Replace the LED panel by inserting the end pieces
and the three tabs into the corresponding slots.
Rotate the panel down into position so that the s crew
holes on the rear of the notebook line up with those
on the LED panel.
6. Ensure that the four tabs along the top of the
keyboard are in place beneath the LED panel by
gently pressing down on the keyboard until it clicks
into place.
7. Replace the three screws in the rear of the case and
replace the battery.
Your notebook computer will automatically detect the
change in RAM capacity when it restarts.
