Connecting the Port Bar

Your notebook computer comes
with a USB port bar peripheral
connection device. To connect the
port bar, use the slider to eject the
USB connector (1) and then pull
the USB connector to fully extend
the USB cable (2). Finally, plug
the USB cable into one of the
USB ports on the right side of the

notebook (3).
Note: When the AC adapter is

connected, the USB port supplies
500 mA (milliamperes) of power to
the USB device. When the AC
adapter is not connected, the USB
port provides only 100 mA.
