Using a DC Power Source
Only a qualified electrician or service person should make and install the power cable with in-line fuse
Caution
supplying DC-power to the power injector.
To prevent damage to the access point or power injector, connect all coax cables from the power injector
Caution
to the access point and connect the power jack to the power injector before applying power.
The power plug has a screw-on cap to secure the power cable to the power injector. The mating power
plug is a Switchcraft 760K (see
Figure 15
Inline Power Fuse
When you mount the access point in a vehicle, an inline power fuse must be used in the positive (+)
power line going to the power injector.
The inline power fuse must be listed and certified to the appropriate safety standards for the country
