Lumbar support*

The seat back contour can be altered to support

of the spine.
The upper edge of the pelvis and the spinal col-
umn are supported, to encourage an upright but
relaxed seated position.
>

Head restraints

A correctly positioned head restraint reduces
the risk of neck injury in the event of an acci-
dent.
Adjust the head restraint in such a way
that its centre is at approximately ear
level; otherwise, there is an increased risk of
injury should an accident occur. Only remove a
head restraint if no one will be sitting on the seat
in question. Refit the head restraint before
transporting a passenger on that seat; other-
wise the passenger will be without protection
from the head
restraint.<
