5. Insert the Allen key from the toolkit, see
page 129, into the designated aperture.
Move the glass roof in the desired direction.
6. Install the control unit and reattach the
cover of the lights.

Panorama glass roof*

Observe the panorama glass roof during
the closing procedure to avoid any inju-
ries.
Take the remote control with you when you
leave the car, otherwise children could operate
the roof and possibly injure
Raising
Press the switch.
From the closed position, the roof is raised and
the sliding trim opens slightly.
Do not close the sliding trim forcibly with
the roof in the raised position, as this
would damage the mechanism.<

Opening, closing
Sliding trim
With the roof in the closed or raised position,
you can move the sliding trim independently.
> Push the switch toward the rear to the pres-
sure point.
The sliding trim opens as long as you hold
the switch in this position.
> Lightly push the switch to the rear past the
pressure point.
The sliding trim opens automatically.
Touching the switch stops the movement.
Close the sliding trim similarly by pushing the
switch forward.
Panorama glass roof
With the sliding trim opened, proceed as
described at Sliding trim.

Opening and closing the roof and
sliding trim together
Briefly push the switch twice in rapid succes-
sion past the pressure point.
Touching the switch stops the movement.
Convenience functions
> With the roof opened, press the switch
twice:
The roof is raised.
> With the roof raised, briefly push the switch
twice in the direction for opening:
The roof is opened completely.
Comfort position
In the comfort position, the roof is not com-
pletely open, thus reducing wind noise in the
passenger compartment.
Each time the panorama glass roof is opened or
closed completely, it stops in the comfort posi-
