Battery is no longer being charged.

aged or not securely connected

Cause
What to do
Switch off all unnecessary electrical
consumers. Have the power supply
checked without delay.
Have the battery checked as soon as
possible.
If brake pedal travel is noticeably longer,
stop the car immediately. Contact BMW
Service.
Have the system checked as soon as
possible.
Have the condition of the brake pads
checked without delay.
You cannot continue your journey. Con-
tact BMW Service.

Have the system in question checked

The engine cannot be restarted.
Depress the brake to restart the engine.
