SYMPTOM
Burner will not ignite.
Burner motor will not run.

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBABLE CAUSE
Fuel pickup inlet screen is
obstructed.
High temp switch over-ride.
Flexible coupler broken.
Dirty or clogged fuel filter.
Fuel Pump sucking air.
Fuel Pump inoperative.
Dirty or clogged fuel nozzles.
Improper burner air adjustment.
Ignition transformer failure.
Ignition electrodes not set
properly, damaged or worn.
Fuel solenoid valve failure.
Power switch is defective or not
in the ON position.
No voltage.
Motor overload
Fuel Pump seized.
Water in the fuel.
Fuel pickup inlet screen is
obstructed.
Dirty fuel filter.
Dirty fuel nozzles.
Improper air adjustment setting.
Fuel Pump malfunctioning.

REMEDY
Contact REEVES EMS.
Unit will automatically reignite when
unit is cool.
Replace.
Replace.
Tighten all fuel intake connections.
Eliminate leaks in intake line.
Check pressure, replace if needed.
(Pressure should be checked by an
authorized service technician).
Replace.
Adjust accordingly to the
procedures listed in Maintenance
every 3 months.
Replace.
Contact REEVES EMS.
Replace.
Check switch position or replace.
Contact REEVES EMS.
Reset when unit is cool.
Allow motor to cool; repair or
replace.
Replace fuel filter; drain fuel tank
and replace with clean fuel
Contact REEVES EMS.
Replace.
Replace.
Adjust. (See procedures listed in
Maintenance every 3 months).
Replace.
