III. ADVANCED OPERATION

1. GENERAL

This section will cover advanced features of the DVR. This instruction manual will assume that the
section on basic operation has been read and understood. The advanced operation will require
occasional references to some of the features explained in the Advanced Settings section. This
section will address the backup function, the motion and alarm recording and its combinations,
Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera control and time search.

2. USB BACKUP

NOTE: For best performance, STOP the Recording
before performing the USB BACKUP Function.
Insert an USB memory stick at the front USB port of the
DVR.
Press the [BACKUP] button on the DVR or remote
controller.
Select "USB – MEMORY STICK" for USB memory stick
Backup.
Set the video backup range by entering the date and
time.
Scroll down to "ACTION" and press [+] button to start
the backup process.
