Dome Performance Dome Performance and Features The PTZ-2000-10 PTZ Dome camera is a high-tech surveillance product with a high definition Sony CCD Image sensor, variable speed Pan/Tilt and zoom capabilities with a built-in multi-protocol RS-485 decoder. This camera is designed for reliable operation, and can provide many years of reliable service in home or business security camera installations.
• Focus Control The PTZ-2000-10 system defaults to Auto-Focus. When the lens changes to zoom in or out, the lens will automatically adjust the focus according to the objects in the center of the camera’s view. The user can manually adjust the focus of the camera by using a PTZ Keyboard with “Far/Near”...
• Scan The user can easily set up the PTZ-2000-10 camera to scan between a left and right point smoothly. This function is popular for a continuous back and forth scanning motion to view around corners and more.
Basic Camera Operation 4.1.1 Power on Operation and Self-Test The PTZ-2000-10 camera conducts a power-on self-test when it initially receives power. The camera will rotate slowly until it reaches the default pan position, then it tilts through the full tilt range until it reaches the default tilt position. Once the self- test is completed, it will display the Serial Number, Firmware edition, Protocol, dome address and baud rate on the screen.
