Using the GM Set-up Menu

Bell sound setting when checking for stations within sphere of communications

During GM operation, a bell notification can be given when a registered group member
or another station whose GM function is in operation enters or exits the sphere of
communication.

for one second or longer
The set-up menu will be displayed.

Touch [GM]
The menu list will be displayed.

Touch [1 RANGE RINGER] to select ON/OFF
Each time this is touched, the setting will switch
between "ON" and "OFF".
ON: A bell will sound when a station operating in
the GM mode enters or exits the sphere of
communication.
OFF: A bell will not sound even when a station
operating in the GM mode enters or exits the
sphere of communication.
Tip
Factory default value: ON

for one second or longer
The bell sound ON/OFF setting will be set, and the display will return to the previous
screen.
