*The connector for the CV31 AC power supply is different than the one
for the CV30. You cannot use the CV31 power supply with a CV30.
If the CV31 is disconnected from external power, the backup battery can
keep the CV31 running in a network connected state for up to 30 minutes.
When power is restored, the CV31 continues normal operation.
An internal charger automatically charges the backup battery (within 8
hours) when the CV31 is connected to external power.
Note: The battery temperature must be with in the acceptable range of
0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F) to charge.
Check the status of the backup battery to make sure that it is functioning
properly.
1 Tap Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2 Double tap Power.
The battery status appears on the Battery tab.
